HUMAN GENETICS

The SVGM is a laboratory of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with long experience in the field of genomics that has the necessary equipment and knowledge to carry out flexible and scalable genotyping, expression and sequencing projects.

The SVGM has been offering its services and transfer activities to companies and public centers for more than 20 years.

GENOTYPING

We offer custom panels for different types of projects such as nutrigenomics, sports, pharmacogenetics, studies of hereditary diseases, cancer, among others. We have different platforms according to the number of markers needed (either SNPs or indels), both for medium-high densities (OpenArray and genotyping by sequencing with ThermoFisher's Ampliseq technology) and small scale or single markers (Taqman probes and PACE assays).

GENE EXPRESION

Screening and validation of mRNA and miRNA gene expression using qPCR or NGS.

NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING (NGS)

AmpliSeq panels for analysis of gene expression, SNPs, indels, exomes, metagenomics and epigenomics for fixed or custom panels.
